Well, people wanted that Kap/Ek/Boldy line going again…might not have to wait long, if Ek’s injury is less serious.
Otherwise, Kap/Rossi/Boldy seems…weird.
Any idea what exactly happened or what the surgery was for?
Reminds me of when Manu Ginobili took a shot to the nuts and had to have surgery as well.
Doesn’t seem fun at all.
Most gruesome injury I think I’ve seen
Something similar happened to Mitch Garver while playing catcher for the Twins if I remember correctly. Took a foul ball right in the boys.
Ugh, his own instinct to protect himself probably made it worse. He sees the shot coming and tries to jump and turn. Had he stayed on the ice it probably catches him higher up in the gut and knocks the wind out of him.
Obviously no way of predicting that, but poor guy.
No nut November for Zuccy.
