16.7% lol
incredible defensive game despite that and bad rebounding
awful jenkins lineups
this team is showing it is good literally in spite of itself
Edey might lead the league in Field Goal and 3pt percentage this year lol. Beast
Edey being the 3pt best shooter tonight is so funny lol
They were getting good looks, just could not deliver. One of those nights honestly.
Brightside Bane and Vince looked alright considering they were coming off injury. Vince started to look like his old self. Had a few bad plays, but Ill chalk that up to rust without him having a training camp.
At the end of the day we shot 7/42 from deep and lost by 5. That game could have easily gone a different way if we were hot.
Definitely a bunch of guys shaking off rust and/or figuring out where they’ll belong in the new rotation. It sucks that you’ve gotta figure it out on the fly while teams are invested in these IST games, but it’ll come together.
The three point line was a mistake
I need picks + Marcus smart . 3 team trade please get cam Johnson
Kennard with some straight cardio tonight
The difference between the benches cost us this game, sucks that Curry scored 13 and we couldn’t take advantage
Bad shooting night and rough game from some guys (SPJ, Santi, Luke etc). Going forward now that we’ve got guys available hope Jenkins picks and sticks with some lineups throughout the game need to develop some continuity.
Bright spots included Edey. Dude is doing well at creating some extra chances. Des played well in his return and thought Vince was looking good defending on the ball he was shooting like everyone else tho.
Unfortunately if you brick shots to that extent it meant the Warriors were able to get out and run and be comfortably leading for the majority of the game.
Do I hate it that the warriors are good again? Yup
Am I worried about this warriors team once we’re back fully healthy ? Nope
This stretch of games was always looking rough without ja, hopefully we can grab a dub or two against the nuggets.
We need to stop freezing out Zach Edey and give him looks and opportunities to succeed. Having him come off the bench with little involvement isn’t good for anyone. You drafted him at 9 for a reason, let him do what he does
Awkward game. Not surprised we went 0-2 on the Cali trip. A little surprised it’s because Dalton Knecht went supernova in a quarter and we couldn’t make a 3 in SF. I don’t like Jenkins rotations sometimes but we’re integrating multiple guys into the lineup that are rusty and giving young, young guys fewer minutes than they’ve been adjusting to. Awkward. This cup game had terrible timing for us.
BUT another reason you can’t give away a game at home against the Bulls at home and let the Nets game at home slip away.
Really want a cup game, neeeed this one against the nuggets Tuesday. And maybe Sunday if that’s not too much to ask for.
Jenkins is going to have to make some hard decisions about the rotations when Ja and GG come back. already seeing the logjam
The assist line says it all
Edey is gonna be Brook Lopez on steroids. Bane, Vince Williams need more nba game speed. I aint worried about this loss at all.
No Yuki Hypeman?
No win.
it was statistically the single worst shooting night in memphis grizzlies history, i’m sure a lot of people are melting down but it will be alright lol. jenkins is gonna have to get things figured out rotation wise and make some tough decisions, but he will and guys will settle in. i’d also just like to point out that jaren is a monster
edit: although after saying this i do think jenkins needs to get serious and re-evaluate some things. i think he tends to do a little too much instead of just playing as many of the best guys together at once and it’s wild frustrating
The Grizzlies have a lot of depth. But they have only one super star. They will go only as far as Ja can take them.
I’m sorry but not starting Bane is stupid. Play your best players most. I did not see enough of Jaren/Vince/Des together on the floor tonight. Edey should be starting too
dray’s postgame interview is so funny dude is pissed
Is Jenkins a serious coach or no? Like why on earth is that starting line up defended by rolling it back half to start the 3rd Q? Are we sure he can take this team where it should go?
