>the plan is this for the Sox: Sign Soto, and either an ace in Max Fried or Blake Snell. Then, trade for Garrett Crochet as the second ace, and trade for Vladdy as the righty slugger they need. Finally, they would meet with Roki Sasaki, the hottest international player this offseason.
Super team with Mookie Betts, Chris Sale, Xander Bogearts,
I’ve received dozens of downvotes on here for wanting to trade for Vlad
If they can pull this off that would be a crazy good team
What a load of bullshit
Who needs Japanese stars when we can just build the DR at Fenway. Need it in my life

I guess Henry forgot the part where acquiing a super team, requires actually opening your wallet and spending money. I will believe that when I see it.
ah yes, the blue jays trade in division to give us vlad
we then have 3 future DHs in soto, devers and vlad…lol
I really want the sox to make a move and compete this year but this report reads like bad fan fiction
EDIT: Also, Vlad is great, but im not convinced hes a sure fire superstar either… hes had 2 amazing years and 4 incredibly average ones
We are really lying our asses off aren’t we?
Somebody is playing video games
Why would the Blue Jays trade to their division rivals?
I mean if they are trying to bring back a team that can probably be as good enough or better than the 2018 team, that would be their best option right there.
The problem is that John Henry doesn’t seem likely to pull this off. He had the resources but not enough willpower.
Lol..guys. come on.
By all means, I would love this.
I’ll believe it when I see it though.

Me sending in this tip
Remember back when they’d give you hope all season then collapse in late August and September? Now we do the hope then collapse dance before the season even starts. Much more efficient.
Just signing Juan Soto and an ace like Fried could make this team a true contender. That’s all we need
I know for a fact that Fenway has not spent any money on capital improvements to the park in 2 years which is the first time they’ve done that ever. Perhaps they are saving up?

Doesn’t seem like a very reputable source.
The signal they’re not getting him
Vlad you’d have to trade Casas or yoshida with a one of the top 4 maybe
When S10 is intrigued I’ll be intrigued, til then…lukewarm stove
If I have no expectations they can’t disappoint me
Somehow I doubt a “super team” will be the outcome of the offseason based on recent history.
Bluejays trade with their division rival? I don’t think so.
So after all these years of rebuilding, they’re just going to tell Breslow to break the emergency glass and smash the Dombrowski Button?
