If Sasaki is willing to go to an east coast club, then the Mets should be the favorite. As for the travel time to Japan, it's only 2 hours more flight time from JFK to Tokyo. Sasaki can be THE pitcher for the Mets where he would be just one-of-three with L.A.

Would like Mets to have young formidable rotation with likes of Sasaki,Crochet,Sproat, McClean and Peterson
