I mean…its still dumb even if it ended up working out for him. No different then asking for half your salary in lottery tix and then saying it was a right decision because one of them hit the powerball lol.
I hope the Bitcoin bubble pops just as much as I hope the 49ers have an embarrassing end to their season again this year
Okay Odell, I thought it was dumb too but here we are.
I was just rewatching the superbowl on the field video and was thinking how important OBJ was for us even tho he’s kinda a douche anywhere else.
No way he held that long, lol
Who says he kept it. I imagine he just set it and forget it. At one time he was down over $300k on the deal. I might have cashed out as soon as I went back even. Being up about half what they gave you in just 3ish years is nice tho.
I wonder what his withdrawal strategy is… and I wonder if he hodled or panic sold lol
I just wish they would stop lying about it. Theyre playing musical chairs with the value of bitcoin, someone WILL be left holding the bag, but everyone playing thinks it wont be them. I dont think anyone would give a shit about bitcoin being a scam if they were honest about what theyre doing. But then not as many people would play the game.
Diamond hands OBJ
With his income, he can afford to take risks and chances that a lot of us probably aren’t able to. If it works out for him, that’s great. If it doesn’t, then it doesn’t hurt him too badly.
Good for him. No OBJ= no SB run. Happy bro got paid and we didn’t have to screw up future cap to do it.
i just dont understand the point of why it had to be paid in bitcoin. if he was bullish on bitcoin why not just take a salary in cash like everyone and their mother and then buy bitcoin? was there a tax benefit or something?
