  1. πŸ˜‚I like Kasper. But this team doesn't have a defense and they've got too many millionaires who don't know how to play 200 feet, and I don't mean Terasenko and Kane. Terasenko and Kane are REAL winners. The ones I'm talking about are the other free agents who are still on this roster since 1-2 years ago and who should probably be gone because the Wings will not make the playoffs this year with this roster. Those other free agent signings include the following: Veleno, Copp, Compher, Fischer, Rasmussen, Chiarot, Petry, Gustafson, Motte, and especially Mo Seider…… Did I miss anybody? These millionaires on the roster are not doing/they're not all around players, and they should go!! If Scotty Bowman were behind the bench, these players would either need to improve their "all around" play, or they would be gone, period. Mark my word. These players will not or will probably not do anything to help catapult the Wings into the playoffs. I am so pissed at Seider. He doesn't deserve $9m a year, he really doesn't. I'm fed up watching these players who can't play 200 feet consistently. I've gotta give some time for Johansson, Edvinson, Raymond, etc. However, those players I listed above will not let the Wings get into the playoffs. They are not consistent enough and they can't be relied upon to let it happen. The Wings need to another Scotty Bowman, and they need to stop looking at German nationals like Seider who they think will shine, when all they're doing is dreaming. Seider is no game changer whatsoever. He cannot or will not catapult to the level of a Nick Lidstrom and can't play offense like a Cale Makar. The Wings could have done better than get rid of Gritty and Maatta, and to some extent Fabbri. The Wings have winners on the team and they have talent, but the supporting staff listed above truly wreaks. These players will do NOTHING to help the Wings get into the playoffs, at least until now. Unless they change their style of play, the Wings will not have a chance to get to the next level. Let me get off my soap box already…..

  2. Kasper was definitely the standout player for the Wings tonight. It was nice to witness his first NHL goal in person…tough loss to watch though.
