That was immediately stop. Hope to see our D get to him again like this in the back field.
I think this was 20’ or 21’; what a stone wall on PRIME king Henry.
Spillane looking like a pro bowler in LV, I guess Queen makes up for it. Colbert fucking up LB, imagine that
Spillane left with an injury. Henry got up and scored on the very next play…
Spillane made an entire career off this stop
Is he still in the league?
That looks like how Najee got stopped the last series against Washington. I couldn’t believe how fast Najee went down.
I always pull this video up on YouTube for people when Spillane comes up in conversation… I was working in a kitchen at the time… and we would stream the early games while prepping for dinner service, on our phones. And I’ll never forget coming around the corner to my prep station and watching him stand Henry up. Gotta love it.
If Spillane didn’t get through unblocked, TJ would have tackled Henry.
One of my all time favorite moments of this team
Henry seems like he hesitated at the last second which gave Spillane the advantage. You can see he brings both feet underneath him to make a cut rather than drive. I have to believe that if he just put his head down and drove, he’s getting the yard he needs. Good job by Spillane for filling the gap without hesitation. But I don’t think he wins that otherwise
