Yes. They shoulda traded him if they weren’t gon pay him. Personally I think you keep talented young players especially when they are your entire offense. He was our best player I woulda paid him tagged Jones and moved on. Saquon woulda made a great weapon for a young QB
GM Joe Schoen has "screwed" the NY Giants by not giving Saquon Barkley a franchise contract and ends up with the Philadelphia Eagles.
This is what happens when a GM fails to resign their playmakers on their team. The team becomes bad and sloppy.

Giants offerd Saquan 3 contracts. He rejected all of them. The last one would have paid him just short of McCaffery but with some other perks. He didn't want to be a Giant.
He grew up in PA near Philly, went to Penn St. He's playing at his home stadium with a much better franchise.

No the giant didn’t make a mistake. They don’t have a offensive line and they don’t have a QB that can throw the ball saqoun wouldn’t have that good of a season and the Giants found a starting running back in the 7th round so it’s a win for both teams

Yes ,the Giants made a huge mistake. Paying Jones and not Barkley is mind-blowing.
I am happy for Barkley, because he would have never experienced the success with the Giants that he has with the Eagles. THE is a talented Running back, but he was never the type of running back, best suited for the poor Giant Roster. The Giants needed a generation power running back, able to run over lineman and linebackers, more or a north-south runner, that is not Barkley. Watching some of the Barkley high-light runs with the Eagles, running through huge gaping holes, I cannot remember him benefiting from that kind of blocking and space as a Giant.
