10. Hiring Deion as HC would fit right into the Raiders coaching hires during the past 40 years. McDaniel, Cable, White, Bugel, Turner, Callahan, Kiffin, Allen, etc…. The Raiders would win 4-7 games per season and Sanders either quits or gets fired and the rebuild starts all over AGAIN.

26. I would not doubt Deion is using his son to get a head coaching position in the NFL cause he's not going to settle for a lower position. Deion is a character and he's going to want to be in charge.

30. A real one to me is not a undeniable loyalty to a team that could less about you. And I say that by the way that they’ve only had 2 decent seasons in the past 23 seasons. I’m a realistic fan and I don’t want them to lose, I don’t. But you have to be a realist. I’ve heard Mitch say this and it is semi true, and that is “to do something repeatedly again and again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity”. In this case it is true. Hoping for them to be good is different than blindly saying we’re gonna be good regardless.

31. If Sanders is sitting for a year then there is no need to sign big contracts to anyone in free agency. When he's ready then you make your moves.

34. Nobody knew Jamarcus Russell didn’t love football at the time. Hindsight is always 20/20. And to that even to say he didn’t love football is just saying that because he didn’t have the work ethic to match an expectation the media put on him. And that is justifiable tbh. But even now, the “more information” we have on players is pretty much coaches speaking highly of players by saying “he’s a high character guy”, “he loves football” or “he’s the first one in last one out”. All that is so watered down. Coaches always speak highly of players. To say we know sanders or ward are not gonna be busts like Jamarcus is saying we know them personally, seen them practice day in and day out. We haven’t. You haven’t Mitch. Idk all this “coaches say he’s a high character guy..” is all nonsense to me. You see him on the field in the nfl and that’s when you can start judging him. And even then you have to give him a couple years to really see what kind of player he is.
