2. Soto isn’t coming here. People get real, in the eyes of MLB Toronto is an outpost. It’s more likely that Bo and Vlad play the season and then walk in free agency due to the mismanagement from the bloated front office.

   Jose Bautista hit 54 HR in 2010 while Adam Lind and Encarnacion (in his first full season here) were in the 26 year old age range.

   Imagine those two in our lineup last year lol

13. No point in saying Shapiro needs to be fired now since this is his last contracted year, he should have been fired years back. Atkins has another year after this one but since Shapiro is in his last season Atkins will probably follow him next year.

14. Vlad is controlling the situation. Not the team. He is waiting to see how much an American team ends up paying for Soto before he puts his salary demands on the table. Smart move.

20. He’s. Not, That. Good. Sign Vlad. Trade Bo, Varsho and Barger and Jimenez and others for Garrett Crochet and Luis Robert. Sign Max Fried and Willy Adames .

21. So lets say we get Soto and shell out 600 or whatever. Does that mean that Rogers will then shell out another 600m for Vlad? And then another 300m or so for other players to fill out the roster like bullpen and other rotational pieces? Does this mean that Rogers realizes that winning a championship on the cheap will never happen and that the Yankees will never go away with their deep pockets? If so thatll be great but Im also concerned that we get Soto and the team doesnt perform well and we watch Vlad go elsewhere etc. Sometimes the best moves are the ones that you don't make.
