Heard it was Ben that planted the gun on Jameson and used his phone to bet last year.
Just a rumor I heard.
I don’t think this is as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. I think Ben Johnson is very much like Dan Campbell in that he is going to be very selective about who he goes to work for. Chicago Dallas Las vegas New Orleans Jacksonville are not exact set up to succeed from the top down so why go there? If he’s taken care of here I don’t think entertains certain offers at all. Passing on Carolina last year showed us that
Ben hasn’t discussed it with his team then I guess

My favorite line. With every talented player we have is amazing there aren’t more complaints about “getting theirs”, well, i guys not that amazing as MCDC doesn’t need then around. But for real, we’ve got talent at every position that most teams only have 1. Deep threat, slot merchant, TE, Weapon Backs. Each one could have an individual playbook built built around them and the team would be great. Ben Johnson hardest job is narrowing die what he’s going to call because he has such an embarrassment of riches to go through before he gets to his deep well of trick plays.
If we go all the way I really hope AG and Ben stay for at least 100 more years.
Are there notable OC or DCs who were super successful but never wanted to leap to the HC position? I feel like it’s such a different role to become HC, maybe he doesn’t even want it?

I heard this is what Ben does at Christmas. You definitely wouldn’t someone like that in your organization.
I’ll honestly be gutted if he goes to the Bears, don’t go to a shit team BJ. 🙏
