Might be unpopular but I actually really have liked what I’ve seen from Maason Smith. He’s young and raw so there’s a lot of plays he still messes up, but god damn is he a giant body, and DT for the most part takes some time to develop. Carter and Kobie Turner are exceptions not the rule
We spent a 2nd round pick on one who isn’t even active when healthy… Spent big money on Armstead who refuses to play his best position. Baalke has to go
Its too bad we didn’t draft that Maason Smith kid outta LSU in the 2nd round
It’s crazy that we have a great DT rotating in at DE.
Hopefully Maason Smith develops and the next DC here recognizes Armstead is actually a DT.
Both sides of the line yet again demand serious overhaul, we can’t generate any push consistently and it makes everything that much more difficult.
If only there was someone on the defensive line historically known to have success at DT
Also Jones is a monster
Hmm well we do have a 50 million DT that we’re using at DE…come to think of it we have a 2nd round pick at DT too…wonder what those guys are doing on game days…
Pretty sure Jags fans have been saying this for 3 straight years now. And its always at this time of the year.

picked up a DT in the second round that doesn’t even play half the games and our biggest FA is a solid DT that refuses to play the position lol. Welcome to heartbreak.
Would anybody be against taking Graham over Johnson in the draft if we end up picking 4-5?
Good thing we got Armstead and not Calais Campbell
Note that we drafted two DTs and neither had any highlights worth mentioning in college
