Dang, Gator for Gator
Potentially hot take but I like this move.
Would McClain go to second then?
Average infielder for an above average starting pitcher. Hmmm…🤔
I’m in the no trade India camp he’s really good for us and a leader
This would be a really good trade for the reds. Had the best season of his career last year but it was like a 3.7 ERA and he threw ~180 innings
Looks like he deleted the tweet
As long as the prospects wouldn’t be too intense then I’m totally down.
I’d imagine one of Connor Phillips, Lyon Richardson or Ashcraft would also be involved in the trade as well.
It’s a win.
This would be great
Yeah I’d do this deal and not look back
India? Average. Singer? A little better than average. Way more valuable to have a starting pitcher in that category on a 1 for 1 swap, especially when India is pretty expendable with McLain around.
Interesting move. If Martinez accepts his QO, that’d give us a logjam at the back of the rotation. Greene, Singer, Martinez in, with Abbott, Lodolo, and Lowder vying for the last 2 spots.
LET’S GOOOOOOOOO
This isn’t even about India, we’d be getting a *good* starting pitcher back.
great trade 1-1
Sounds like a good Baseball trade to me. I love India, guy has a great attitude and is a good baseball player, but we have a logjam in the infield and need pitching. If the Royals need infield help and can spend a pitcher to make it happen, we need to explore that option.
I would feel much more comfortable with this if I knew McClain was going to be healthy
As good as this trade would be and there’s no reason to not support it, I hate this.
Always liked India too however it’s time to move on now
Agree with trading India and getting value for him, especially if they can get a major league level player. This would make a lot more sense if they hadn’t made the QO to Martinez, or if Singer had more than 2 years of control.
Depends on what other players may be included in something like this though.
