That was quite the adventure this morning. Free for all trying to just navigate and find a player I wanted in my size…

I didn’t even check but everything is and was heat pressed in the arena (UTAH logo is stitched) I assumed the player jerseys would have been stitched at factory but that’s not the case. Should have just got a blank.

Anyone know a good tailor that I can drop this off at and have them stitch these on?

  1. exactly why I don’t do customized sweaters, especially not from an in arena team store. always blank, unless I’m buying a game worn.

  2. Both knockoff jerseys I’ve gotten are better quality than the shit Fanatics is churning out.

I don’t mind paying full price for authentics as long as the quality is superior, but it’s not. Until then, no more Fanatics products for me.

  3. I got a Guenther jersey and the name badge was coming off like that. I told one of the reps at the door I was disappointed and they took the jersey and had it repressed for me on the spot. I’m still disappointed in the β€œpremium” being heat pressed and not stitched. My adidas authentics seem much higher in quality. I’ll probably get a pro blank and have it stitched elsewhere.

  4. the jerseys made available today were pressed in house as are the inaugural season patches (this will be the service that launches to have a jersey back to you within the time of a game being played)

the only way to get the stuff the players wear is to send to the team customizer who is still back in phoenix. the jerseys shipped from nhl store will be stitched on but not to on ice specifications.

as much as we (myself included) love to bash fanatics, this instance falls on the chaos/rush created by the first jersey drop, so the in house press quality was probably the same as what you can find at your local lids.

best advice is to take it to a local seamstress to get the zigzag done correctly for cheap and then keep this info in your back pocket the next time you’re shopping. today was very exciting but i was almost positive we’d see something like this once we saw they had more jerseys (w patches pressed) and more jerseys w customization than what we were initially told. congrats on getting one in hand, im waiting on one directly from indonesia and hoping it’ll make it before the holidays. the speed is really what people paid for today.

  5. If you want quality and are willing to wait, there’s a company named Exclusive Pro Sports out of Illinois. Wait time is about 3-4 months right now but you get what you wait and pay for I guess!

  6. I feel like the jersey I got looks fine and great with all the stitching, but I didn’t see any of the name jerseys. I’m sure they will make good on that number stitching right?
