  1. Bro my balls are gonna be bluer than a smurf if we don’t sign him at this point.

    I’m ready to be disappointed

  2. Expectations are so high this season that there’s no way that I’m going to be satisfied with the solution at this rate. Can they really get a combo like Soto + Crochet + Fried + Roki without losing the big 4 and only giving up an Abreu or Duran?

  3. Why do they have to give up Duran??? He needs to stay in the fold. He was 2024. Don’t dog him for 2025

  4. Is this the schtick they gave Kenley when they promised to compete while he was here?  Soon as Soto meets with the teams that will actually pay him this offseason, the dominos are going to fall real quick on this pipe dream they’re selling fans.

  5. I’m starting to believe they’re going to spend. Will it be $600+ million on Soto? I’m not convinced of that yet. But this is a lot of smoke, which is encouraging.

  6. Yep, not buying it… I mean I thought last night’s Tyson fight was gunna be a legitimate fight …

  7. Yeah, I’ll believe it when I see it. This is the same FO who let homegrown, future HOFer Mookie Betts walk before he was even in his prime. Just being gaslit once again.

  8. He’s telling the truth. We’re going to add impact players and we’re going to be good. And good job of emphasizing player development over the last few years, it’s why we are where we are. I’m excited!

  9. Plan A, B and C is get Soto. If that fails, I don’t want them to just throw money around with other positional played . Definitely get Scott and a starting pitcher (doesn’t need to be Fried, Snell or Burnes). Then we just bridge yet another year, hope the big four pan out and go get Vladdy next year.
