  1. We need Tari and Amen screening for Jabari and Jalen for the split action. Creating good shoots for Bari – Jalen and allowing Tari and Amen to roll to the basket can be beneficial for our offense.

  2. If this shooting percenteg continues, sky is the limit. Alperen is gonna make easy buckets and create easy wide open shots. Because opponent teams will send double teams to Alperen less fruquently.

  3. Jabari being a good 3 point shooter unlocks the half court offense, especially with the offense being heliocentric around Sengun's passing ability. Even though Jabari is struggling, if we want to compete against OKC for west dominance in the next 5 years, we need him to be the best version of himself. Jabari still has the best capability of anyone on the team to shoot unguardable shots. He already has that one shot down in the short corner, which is why Ime starts off most games with that (to get his confidence going), since it's pretty obvious that his biggest weakness is his confidence. When he gets confident, we can see that flamethrower capability he showed in college, when he was hitting 7-8 threes in a row. Ime has been doing a balancing act of man-managing to maximize the team's potential in the future, even though Amen and Tari clearly have been better than him so far.

  4. Best offense so far this season. I've also been hoping Ime would try Jabari at 5 in the bench lineup next to Tari and Amen since they can make up for his rebounding and the spacing would be much better than playing Steven Adams with Amen. Wouldn't you know it, everything looked much better.

Maybe Ime is turning the corner and we no longer have to get everything out the mud. This team with a real offense probably wins 55 games.

  5. Love the win and super happy with the team but kinda sad and disappointed about jalen green, I want him to be good so badly because he can be so exciting to watch but it feels like he just struggles so much with defending, turnovers, and even scoring sometimes. Seems like he still has a long long way to go to approach being an SGA type dude we can trust on a nightly basis.

  6. We really need someone from the spurs Warriors or Nuggets offensive system on our staff. Either of their plays will help Sengun Jalen and everyone around us.

  7. Jabari offensively over the 3 years is sad. Literally the same dude..no back to the basket game, weak face up game, no footwork near the rim not even a euro step. Just middies and threes.

  8. The movement off-ball from those actions is what I was most impressed with. They’ve tried to run some of these sets previously, but the 2 guys on the opposite side would just stand still. If you notice Dillon relocating to the corner for the 3 and Amen/Tari cutting back door, those subtle movements create space and unlocks wide open 3’s and layups. I’m with you, I hope we can see them continue to add onto this offensive scheme. Bc once it becomes 2nd nature…oooh wee!

  9. It is so odd to me the Rockets can do this and just a few games ago they had like 13 assists against the Wizards. I wonder if Cam's style of play is disrupting what Ime wants the Rockets to become? Anyway, I knew we didn't need an "offensive coordinator". Expectations are going to be higher from here on out.

  10. When Sengun came off the court and gave a headlock hug to Dillon, because he was excited about the triple dub….then Dillon realizing why Sengun was so excited was awesome to see. Dillon was truly happy for Sengun. Great team chemistry 🤘🏾🚀🤘🏾🚀

  11. I could watch Amen and Tari play defense and turn it into offense all day, all night, into eternity. I caught the game on league pass w/ the clippers broadcasters jim jackson and some other guy and they were lauding the performance saying it felt like houston has 6 players on the floor.

  12. Great analysis, I think "selfish" is the key word for our early offense hiccups. And it looks like both Sengun and Green was trying to hard to solo their defenders. Green's shots was falling early games, but Sengun was struggling especially against chet and wemmby. There was a hesitation on Sengun when he passes the ball to outlet shooters. I actually think jabari was the victim of this behavior, because a lot of his shoots was a second or two too late and they were not really open.

This game is totally different, the passes from Sengun on the elbow was quick decision-wise, and crispy. This is a good trend, he is trusting his teammates and it pays off greatly.

I think for Green, he needs also learn to trust his teammates, be a more willing cutter, trust his teammates will find his on cuts and get easy baskets.

  13. Finally, I got to see what I've been looking for since Udoka took over! I've been pretty harsh on them lately, but then I realized they were 8/4 with no outside shooting! That's incredible, they are a good team and a have great defense. I am officially a fan(atic) of this specific group of guys. I no longer want to see any trades etc. Just let these guys do their thing. Amen and Tari off the bench, Sengun now at the elbow, and then Jabari out there making it look easy. Its only a couple of games against the Clippers, who probably aren't very good, but they are showing me they get it. I'm getting really attached to this team's energy, so much so I don't really care if they can shoot. So I'm not complaining anymore – just so long as they come out and play hard. If they can continue to move the ball like they did in this game they can beat anybody.

  14. I agree that playing the game the right way is extremely important, but percentages does play a part when the person with the highest usage has the worst field goal percentages on the entire team. That's not a formula for success.

  15. Great game. 48mins of great basketball. The highest ceiling for me was Jabari coz of this kind of game. He unlocks this team. Jalen doesn't need to force anything. Just be a good playmaker and limit turnovers. Alpi is really our hub. Doesn't need to score that much but unfortunately he needs to if we want him to be an All-Star. Fred pushing it quick also great for us. Don't slow it down. Also, Dillon is playing well man. Both sides of the court. I love it. We haven't really played elite team and win. We lose to OKC and GSW. This East road trip will say a lot. Again, 1 word reiterated by Bari, "Consistency". Go Rockets🚀

  16. Hi Frank .Thanks again for the wise advices. One small note:Rockets needs shooters.1-2 additions whom you mentioned a couple of time before..
