  1. for me, Primeau is done, he's had to many chances and failed to hit the mark too many times. I think it may be time to move on from him and try and find someone else to bridge the gap to Dobes and Fowler, Monty hasnt found it yet either this sesason, after the 1st game against Toronto he's been shaky, giving up weird rebounds on player you'd expect him to make, I think he can figure it out, as of Primeau…

  2. no denis savard. thats the difference tonight. hes terrible. im a huge habs fan and i dont understand why he is in the lineup usually. hes slow, turns over the puck almost everytime he touches is. and doesnt cover his guy. he needs to go and keep bringing up their young guys.

  3. Finally some cycling, forechecking, throwing body and most important: They actually started to skate! I mean let´s not plan a parade here because there is much work to be done but I really liked to see some attitude with their game.

  4. Practice info did indicate Struble was going to be scratched tonight. However, the late mention of Savard's injury allowed him back in the lineup for the moment. Struble happens to take another high-sticking penalty again in the 3rd period.

  5. Beating bad teams does not mean you're turning things around. Columbus look like the Habs who can't cover their men and can't score. Buffalo is the same. Beat some good teams and then we can say things are turning for the better.

  6. Great video guys love the content. For me, Primeau's already had many second chances already and I think that he's a big reason why we are ao low in the rankings right now, I don't think that he currently has the mental fortitude required to play in the NHL at such high stakes.

I love Savard but I don't think that his current playstyle and skillset fits with the direction in which the team is going. Blocking a few point shots here and there doesn't contribute the same as having more speed in the defensive zone to prevent the shots in the first place.

I feel like Devorak should put on some colorblind friendly glasses so that he stops putting the puck directly on the tape of the opposite team near the slot in the d zone.

Marty needs to keep coaching when he's behind the bench, show some heart, lead the boys. The job doesn't stop once practice is over. It's a real bad look going into OT without even a whiteboard in sight, feels like winning doesn't matter to him.

Someone needs to ask Kirby if he's still interested in playing hockey for a living. Maybe start to at least pretend to look like he gives a shit.

Love what Marty did with the second line. It makes too much sense to spread the talent among the lines. How can Caufield playing against 2nd liners not offer great opportunities to score.

Good puck luck, good goaltending, good efforts tonight. Great result. Still a lot of work to do to steady the ship.

  7. 11pts in 52 GP…..doesn't sound like an offensive D to me. Those aren't even Barron numbers. Barron had 13pts in 48 games last year. Why do we want another Barron?

What they need is a RD, one that is a defensive specialist, about 27-28yrs old, with some time under his belt.

  8. Jiricek and Mailloux have a lot of similarities and he’s a young guy. I don’t think that’s necessarily the type of Dman we’re looking for. I think we’d prefer a seasoned player whose strengths are their puck moving and defensive ability.
