  1. This thread will surely be free of bias and brigading

God forbid a fanbase doubt a player averaging 11/5/7 on 38/29/70 in November’s future with their team

  2. I mean, yeah. That’s why people in here were mad, because we are quite possibly the homers of all homers. Josh has skills but he wants to be what he’s not, and quite frankly that takes a lot of work and it’s work I’ve not seen him do.

Mean floater, good rebounder, good vision and passing… but even his passing declined and that’s just his effort and execution. He’s got the goods.

But there’s a reason Tre Mann and Lindy are looking better than this man, and it’s because you have to acknowledge your problems because that’s how you get better.

Maybe he needs a bench role with less pressure while he works on it, but maybe working on post game footwork to add to his arsenal would fit his frame better.

I hope he does well, but being promising with a glorious head of hair won’t get you all the way to the all star game.

If I have to choose between Josh and our Kiwi, I know which one means more to me. And it’s not a talent thing so much as it is the attitude.

  3. I’ve also seen “content creators” claim that Chicago fleeced *us* in this trade in the first week of the season

The reality is a dozen games is a ridiculous sample size to attempt to judge a trade, especially when one of the two players in the deal is a 21 year old with plenty of time to still develop.

  4. Last game was brutal. -27 in 15 mins. Guy can’t defend any guard with a quick feet and average handles.

  5. Caruso has been horrendous for us offensively but you don’t see us panicking. Sounds like a dude being reactionary for views.

  6. Giddey put in an absolute stinker vs the Cavs but for the first 10 games the fans were really pumping him up.

Not like NBA fans to turn on a dime after one game, right?

Anyway Giddey still needs to improve a lot and Chicago need to gather Ls and develop so I dunno what they’re so mad about

  7. That’s funny bc I’ve been to every home bills game and he seems to work pretty well with the offense Billy D wants to run. It takes time. This is one guy looking for a reaction.

  8. Who would have ever predicted that he wouldn’t “ball out” and become an all star in Chicago?

  9. People forget 2nd year Giddey was looking like a star in the making. Was our 2nd best player for mucb of that year with Dub really making his impact post all-star break. I’ll always be rooting for Giddey

  10. Chicago Transplant here (turned Thunder fan when I moved here to OKC in 2014) they’re just very frustrated with all of their teams right now.
