Explains why his play has been so poor this year, but you’d have to think at this rate we’d be better benching him and playing literally anyone else?
Should’ve done the bengals a favor and taken a year off
He said at a wedding this summer he thought he had one year left. Those ankle surgeries must’ve been way worse than we thought
I hope the big guy isn’t doing himself damage that would last once he hangs the cleats up
Here’s to the Cincinnati kid
That decision certainly hasn’t helped us
If a surgery has that big of a recovery time, it’s probably a very necessary procedure that could allow him to hit the field in better playing shape.
selfish choice, sam.
He definitely got pushed by Lamar… Twice, in one single play. Sorry Hubbs, appreciate what you’ve done for the team but it’s time to hang it up.
So instead of him not playing and the team (maybe) being better, he chose to play and make the team (probably) worse. Sounds logical.
Ugh… ok dude
Dude is done. We need to reload on defense this year
Aside from stuffing Derrick Henry inside his own end zone, how’s that working out?
This is more of an indictment on the coaching staff.
ZT can be waaaay too much of a players coach sometimes. I’m sure Sam wanted to play but good Lord ZT everyone that watches these games can tell he just ain’t it.
Sometimes you need to do what’s best of the team.
Should’ve just sat tbh
Can he just get the surgery now
Okay so Murphy is a bust clearly. He can’t even get on the field with Hubbard playing like trash
