  1. Yzerman put this MESS of a team together,,he hired this coach !! Maybe Stevie should be given his walking papers…Look at the free agents,, what a waste of $$$,, Yea he drafted a couple of good kids, and a lot of unproven prospects, I hear it all the time,,a deep prospect pool..I want to see the prospects play in the BIGS !!A HUGE F in MESS !!!

  2. USA Hockey Under 18 development team plays a more disciplined team game. The Wings have a handful of players that came out of that program. No player on their bench would coach a hockey team to play like that !

  3. I sure hope so. I don't know how many more times I can stand watching this team take 5 shots in a period and treat 5v5 like a PK. Boring, losing hockey, and it's gotta go.

  4. We’re stuck watching uninspired hockey with the current state of the team. While we can’t fix everything overnight, and it’s clear that no single person is to blame for where we are, that doesn’t mean we can’t take steps to maximize the potential of the roster we have. Personally, I don’t believe that will come under Lalonde, and it’s possible there’s a better fit out there who could help unlock more of this team’s full potential.

  5. Man I’ve been trying to defend lalonde’s position because the D core is not good with a couple exceptions. But man, this has been brutal for a large chunk of the season. This sub 20 shots a game and getting outplayed and outshot 2 or 3 to 1 every game (with very few exceptions) is terrible and it’s the most boring hockey to watch. And to top it off, they aren’t getting the results playing this boring brand of hockey. It’d be different if they were winning 3-2 or 2-1 but it’s not happening and it’s not the goalies faults. They’ve had debrincat and Larkin as the primary goal scorers and that’s about it. I really feel like the leash should be short now because these results are simply unacceptable.

Might as well unleash your forwards for maximum offensive chances now because the defense is what it is. It’s amazing how inconsistent they’ve been, they can outplay some top teams at times and be a dumpster fire the next night. 4 goals against in the 3rd against ANAHEIM? What a joke. Losing to LA, ok whatever but Anaheim? It’s almost as bad as the games last year against Arizona.

There, I got my rant out of the way.

  6. Hear me out… Dan Watson for head coach. Head coach of the Walleye for six years, and they were phenomenal. Led them to the playoffs every year and made finals twice. Look at how the griffins are doing now? They are an incredibly good team right now, and it’s the guy behind the bench
