  1. I said at the start of the season I cold see a world where Knecht becomes a starter before the end of the season. If he can average 16 pts grabbing boards like yesterday it can be more valuable than Reddish defense.

This is not the case yet, but at the end of the season it may be a possibility. He has to play average defense and he has the physical tools to do it, has to improve his fundamentals on that side of the ball

  2. On top of being a deadeye shooter, he seems to have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. That offensive rebound and put back to seal the game at the end of the Pelicans game is a perfect example. He’s got the total offensive package: shooting, crashing the boards, cutting, nifty passing, and heaterability (I just made up the word – it’s the ability to go thermonuclear and hit 3 triples back to back in a short span of time). Add 10 lbs of muscles and a year of seasoning on the defensive end, and by beginning of next season we’ll have our starting wing for the next decade.

  3. Does the Lakers shooting tax apply if you were drafted by the Lakers? Or only after you were an established shooter in another team and make your way here?

  4. Knecht scoring a ton takes the burden off of Reaves and LeBron from getting buckets so they could focus more on playmaking, which is their main strength.

  5. He need to get his big ass to the rim too. He has the potential to be a free throw merchant fr

  6. Feeed Feeeed they should feed this guy and let him rain threes and do his thing. His shooting form is pure. He had that confidence and his neutral Kawhi-like face look that no bright lights could faze him. His defense is work in progress, but right now his positive contributions overwhelms his defensive lapses.
