4. In his defense, there was a huge lag in the audio feed back and forth. Not saying he wasn’t messed up because I thought he was during the game, but it’s hard to crack jokes with a 3 second delay.

Thank you so much for saying this because I’ve been seeing chopped up and edited clips on the internet of their exchange, and it will definitely make it appear like there was something wrong with him. When there was clearly a lag in the audio, if you watch the actual interview. As far as the “DMV joke”, he was taking a shot at SVP because he’s from the Maryland area. But when you have a lag in the audio, the joke doesn’t flow the way it should.
