Ok, they admitted Jaylen brown got fouled too. So it’s a wash. Move on. Cooler for the game to end that way than on free throws any way.
Refs just doing their thing
Well, I’m sure this thread will be calm
Now that this got so much attention, I’m sure this will be the last time NBA refs miss a travel call.
The only way stuff like this could ever be fixed would be if there were some sort of line I could bet on officiating errors each game.
I do that same travel so I’m not saying anything
Does anyone actually ever win from reading L2M report?
I’m fine with the no call. Swallow the whistle unless it’s egregious
Half of the possessions in the NBA are travels, nobody cares… everytime I see a dunk in transition its a travel for example
My reaction to this news is this guy’s profile picture
Why didn’t op include the whole transcript with the Jaylen non call?
I was so focused on Brown getting knocked down that I didn’t see even notice Tatum tapdancing.
Also that Brown was fouled prior to that.
It also says Mitchell fouled Brown right before. Whateva
On each team’s final possession refs missed a call that favored Toronto (Poetl 3 seconds, Brown shoved) followed by missing one that favored Boston (Tatum foul on Poetl, Tatum travel). Sounds like swallowing their whistles in crunch time to me.
Unfortunately for /r/nba, it’s still going on the highlight reel.
do yall really want the refs to start whistling fouls and travels on buzzer beaters? lmao
As a raps fan, I couldn’t care less. Calling that type of thing in the last minute is lame af especially when the NBA never calls all the carries and travels throughout the game anyways.
Like Jokic said, bad teams always find a way to lose and that’s very true for Toronto.
Yes, I say it too, because I have two functional eyes.
Tho, to be 100% honest, I believe 1 functional eye would have been enough (as no depth perception was required)
I know Tatum has truly ascended to super stardom by how much salt surrounds everything he does.
Watching Tom Brady go from lovable unknown with an amazing story to the most polarizing figure in the NFL for 20 years… you’ve made it, JT.
And JB was fouled for FTs right before and wasn’t called. Even in the end l.
This sub has records of salt bc JT keeps beating their fav team 😂
They also said Jaylen Brown was fouled with 7 seconds left, so Celtics would have gone ahead on free throws.
Why is there a full thread dedicate to this, but not Brown getting fouled?
Only Tatum gets his game winners analyzed and asterixed. Most hated player in the league, let the man have his moment

Anybody who’s not an imbecile already knew that.
They also said Jaylen was fouled on the same play
Did they mention the foul on brown
No shit
Yeah and half the league does that on the regular basis.
Hell a good chunk of the best highlights we see have clear travel in them.
Kinda pointless to point it out after the game is donne.
Sure but they also said Jaylen Brown was fouled on that same play, which was obvious to anyone watching. Basically call it even
