Only one angle was shown in this video. Hiding something?
Shits only been a clean hit for 100 years.
he lead with his head is what i see
It was not a legal hit he launched himself headfirst aiming for the receiver's head contacting helmet to facemask. Just because his head hit the ball first and the shoulders also made contact doesn't mean it was a legal hit. It was flagged and reviewed and stood.
Well, here's my thoughts; if you consider it a bad call, it would have to happen 394 more times for the Vikings to be even.
For all the people saying “he lead with his head!” No he didn’t and you’re smoking bath salts. He connects with his shoulder into the receivers body as he catches the ball. That’s not unnecessary roughness that’s a textbook hit. If you seriously believe that motion of tucking his shoulder was leading with the helmet your higher than heaven.
You are not allowed to launch yourself into another player. That's why he got flagged.
Tatum-esque on defenseless player. CTE is a problem!
i only watch for hopes of hitting a big parlay and since been watching as a kid🥲, yeah footballs gone downhill with the refs so yeah still refa making 200k and why dont they be more accurate this is a large viewership
Even if it is a wrong call, I feel like this makes up for a few prior bad calls this season that went against the Vikings. But I'm a Vikings' fan and a bit biased. 🤪
"It is an illegal launch if a player (i) leaves both feet prior to contact to spring forward and upward into his opponent, and (ii) uses any part of his helmet to initiate forcible contact against any part of his opponent’s body."
I can see why it was called but definitely would have picked the flag up if reviewed!
That’s getting called every single time – this isn’t your daddy’s football.
It's called spearing , launching yourself and leading with your head. It's a penalty.
The idea is to stop players from launching head first into receivers…. Why is that so hard to understand…. He is lucky he didn’t go any higher, pure luck. He put his head down and launched without looking. STOP DOING THAT. It should be flagged every time
The refs sux!
It’s hilarious how bias effects perception of something.
He did not lead with his helmet. He did not hit the head.
If it was a hit by the Vikings you’d MAGICALLY see it the other way around because you’re too mentally weak to admit when your team got an advantage
I'm with ya, man, in regard to making things like this reviewable.
So Addison’s head snapped back because……
Two things, don't leave your feet if you intend to hit a receiver that doesn't see you. And since the Vikings had two miss end zone calls in the last two games, the refs probably were aware that they better not make a third missed call in a row against the Vikes…then people might be talking conspiracy.
That was clearly intent to injure and made contact with the helmet. You are choosing to ignore it
Bro he lead with his helmet on a defenses receiver the crown goes up into his face mask. That's a foul.
