Article says maybe? But why can't we see the team fully healthy and if they can play off one another? Not like nurse wasn't already having 6'2 maxey playing with 6' lowry. McCain at least 6'3.

No he isn’t right now
This is stupid
A lot more people are entertaining this than I thought. I think McCain will be pretty good, hell he is the first sixers player I bought a jersey of. But the sample size for him so far in the nba is minuscule. Defense could be a big issue for him for a long while.
Who are we even trading for Maxey?
Idk i haven’t been following this team for that long but this would feel like a betrayal. I’d really hate moving him
If maxey is returning a player like Giannis – sure. Otherwise, nope
Cleveland is looking dominant with a backcourt of spida and garland. I know we have different rosters, but just saying, there’s def a way to make it work.
You do that and I’m gone
lol. can the media at least let us play them together before they start agitating for a trade?
True, 2 small guards is not ideal. However, Portland managed to make it to the WCF with 2 small guards. I’d be fucking thrilled with a ECF appearance at this point.
Answer- maybe? There is no reason to do it this year though. If they fail miserably, it is time to trade everyone except McCain or Maxey anyway. If the team recovers from this terrible start and becomes a real contender, that would be with the two of them, so why risk blowing it up. There is really no hurry to me.
We could have the best backcourt in the league and people want to break it up before we’ve even seen it??
No why would we trade either of them. Both young studs. Hope to have them around for a long time
Wouldn’t it always be, for any trade, who you can get back for them?
Would you trade Maxey or Luka?
Would you trade Maxey for Steph?
My thinking is, whether someone should be available for trade talks is entirely dependent on potential to get greater value back…
If that’s unlikely, then they shouldn’t even get a mention..
Hence until there is some big star on the market, Maxey and his name are staying put.
