Play of the game in his first games against the Ravens

  1. that was very similar to what Devin Bush did vs Baltimore his rookie year. incredible play

  2. I’ve heard it paraphrased before. And I can’t tell you who said it recently nor who started it.

But it’s a quote about turnovers being contagious. Meaning, when you have a defense that has people who can make plays, it causes other guys to make plays. People you wouldn’t even expect.

    Like Wilson.

And maybe it’s true on offense. Certainly Pickens has made better catches (and efforts) since he got a real playermaker at QB.

On defense? I do believe this is a solid theory. And maybe it’s worth noting here and in other comments, but we’ve made plays all year on defense, especially when he absolutely had to have one. A sign of a great team is being able to do it without having to rely on it. The first two forced turnovers were a luxury. We needed Wilson’s. Yet again, we got one of those late turnovers like we’ve done all year.

This isn’t a coincidence and it’s not some kind of desperate bargain with the football gods to make amazing things happen to save us from our own incompetence.

It’s a sign of everyone believing they can make something happen.

  3. P Wilson I have followed since he went to NC state. My school. He will get better and better. He just has a nose to be around the football. He loves his Coaches and teammates. And he loves the Lord. His enthusiasm never lets up. Probably is the steal of the Draft. Awesome he went to the Steelers. Perfect fit.
