  1. it’s not solely because Saleh isn’t in the building. Saleh did not make the 32nd best defense play like the best. We have no DC anymore basically because Ulbrich is busy being HC, JD butchered the dline, Sauce is having a bad year, other important players have been hurt, the entire team has basically quit at this point, etc.

    You could see the signs of regression before Saleh was fired. This isn’t the same defense as last year’s.

  3. They were garbage before…the way they lost today they’ve lost a dozen times over the last 3 years. Is Ulbrich spread thin and thats not making things better? Sure. But anyone who actually watched the first 4 Weeks(and the second half of last year for that matter) saw the problems emerge. They are just playing more Teams that take advantage of it now.
    Salehs/Ulbrichs Scheme started to get really exposed in the second half of last year and JD butchering the D-Line + players regressing was the final nail in the coffin.

    I really dislike when people try to retcon Saleh(or probably soon Douglas) because everything you see on the Field right now is the end result of the Douglas-Saleh Regime.

  6. I just finished reading Zach Rosenblatt on The Athletic.

    There was once a time I really hated the Jets beat writers for being needlessly negative. No more.The team caught up to and ran way past the beat writers when it comes to crappiness.

    Oh well.

  7. Why the fuck did Woody fire Saleh that early?

    I think we would still be in the playoff contention if Saleh was here. There was no urgency to fire Saleh other than the fact that he had worn a Lebanese flag pin the week prior. No matter how much you deny it, I am doubling down on this.

  10. Everyone here pretending that firing Saleh was a mistake. everyone was calling for Saleh to be fired you don’t get to change your mind now that it hasn’t worked out.

  11. My wife is a broncos fan. I hate seeing JFM play for them. She talks all the time how he pretty much changed their whole defense. Jets are pain.
