  1. You guys remember when Harden said that outside of Steph, he’s first in 3s, and it was a very high compliment, and people got mad.

  2. Harden’s basically saying being number two behind Steph is like being the top scorer if you don’t count Wilt’s 100 point game respect where it’s due but still aiming for that top spot.

  3. What’s your favorite and most memorable Harden three? Me – the one against the KD Ws in the regular season after the KD out of bounds shenanigans. Made the world think that the KD Ws could be defeated.

  4. So many of these are incredibly tough contested step backs. Harden changed the game. Fear the Beard and the step back.

  5. That’s cool. Would be pretty crazy if Ray Allen and Reggie Miller played in this era.

  6. I know his falling out with Houston was kind of ugly, but I will never not have respect for his basketball skills

  7. Honestly it is kinda crazy how Steph and Harden’s careers will always be inextricably connected. Drafted in the same year, two of the greatest scorers and offensive engines of all time, but only one could take that next step and the other was always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Reminds me of Lebron and Carmelo or Jordan and Ewing

  8. Like most James Harden statistical achievements, this one is misleading.

He’s made the 2nd most 3’s because he’s TAKEN the 2nd most 3’s. He’s also MISSED the MOST 3’s in NBA history. Harden is a very average shooter (36% career), like most of his big numbers, he got here because he’s always been allowed to chuck as many shots as he wants, without limitation.

Here’s some other relevant record-breaking James Harden 3-point stats:

#1 Most missed 3’s in a season in NBA history

#1 Most missed 3’s in a playoff series in NBA history

#1 Most missed 3’s on the team that missed the most 3’s in a playoff game in NBA history

#2 Tied with himself for second most missed 3’s in a playoff series.
