Sure. But Joey is just a better goalie right now
The goal from Jones is a save he has to make, but they’re giving him absolutely no scoring. Kraken scored 6 goals against Philly for his lone win, but 7 total in the other 6 games he started. Half of those losses have been shutouts for the other team.

They are parking both defensemen in front of Gru during defensive zone cycles. This plugs Gru’s holes but makes it harder to break out of the zone cleanly.
Also Quick was phenomenal tonight.

It’s hard to be mad at that game. Kraken got goalie’d hard and they managed to go toe to toe with one of the best teams in the league. Sure the shutout stings, but Quick earned it. Our other two shutouts against us, the team just looked like dog poop for the entire game.
Gru did fine last night, other than the one he definitely wants back. If the game had finished 2-1, it may be a slightly different discussion
