his final drive could’ve been legendary yesterday. Gets sacked twice, converts a 3rd & 6000 and sets up a kickable gamer. I’m sad about the loss but we have a guy capable of miracles, just as much as we have a coach capable of pissing on them

Both those throws to Rome were so good. The back shoulder throw on 4th and 3 was an absolute dot and the ball came out so fast. Really good to see our rookies connect like this. Rome needs to be more involved every week moving forward.

Happy Birthday to our franchise QB.
I’d like to use this as a reminder that Caleb Williams is 23 years old today. We knew he was going to have bumps as a rookie but his ceiling is still really great, especially after what we saw yesterday.
Drake Maye is the only QB younger than Caleb taken in the top 10. Jayden Daniels is turning 24 next month and Bo Nix turns 25 in February. Both of them are balling but it was expected that they’d be high floor rookie QBs. Coaching malpractice aside, everything we’ve seen so far is par for the course. I’m still so excited to see what Caleb can become.
I still can’t get over that 3rd and 19 play from yesterday. That’s the type of plays we were promised when he was coming out of USC. I never felt more confident in a QB being the guy for Chicago.
