Jeffery Simmons: “Cally we got your back” – honestly good to see Callahan hasn’t lost the locker room

Just clip the video and post it. It takes just as much time and you can do so on your phone.
As horrible as this season has been, the fact that the team has shown nearly zero signs of turmoil despite all the loses is a huge positive. The Jags, Bears, and Bengals all have just as much or more wins than we do, and their coaches seem like they’re on the verge of losing the locker room.
Big Jeff himself has been showing up the last few weeks.
Callahan’s emotional support defensive linemen
It’s almost like the locker room watches film together and sees it’s an o line problem more than a coach problem.
This is just like major league baseball. Anyone who follows MLB knows when things are going bad, and then umpires are screwing you over, and you risk your team breaking down, a manager will start a loud, angry argument with the head umpire and get thrown out of the game on purpose, to send a message to the team and get them fired up.
They generally don’t eject coaches in football games, but this was that. Callahan was kicking dirt on the refs shoes and ripping up the bases yesterday. And I love it. Highest I’ve thought of Callahan all year.
If he had lost the team he won it back yesterday.
This is a positive. I like Callahan and hope he succeeds here.
Pfft yeah okay, team leader gives a contrived statement in an attempt to maintain his role and not become a toxic leader… Idk about everyone else but maybe if Callahan just schemes a defensive play that puts a defender IN FRONT OF THE RECEIVER when you’re on the 1 yard line instead of 3 guys floating around in zones leaving a huge spot in the middle of the endzone you wont have to worry about ticky tack ref calls to not lose at home to a team that isn’t drafting top 5 /thread
