  1. such a great character, and a great player. It's obvious he really wanted to come here, as evidenced by him signing for way less than expected. We are lucky to have him. And this is a case of luck. Jed deserves no credit.

  2. Shota only had 28 walks! That is awesome! On the other hand, Nate Pearson being a possible rotation piece is a low point of the off-season so far. BTW, Chicago is too great of a city to have this many teams struggling in professional sports. It's like they are all owned by the same cheap guy.

  3. I think they have to explain how much depth a team needs for the regular season. The cubs will need, at minimum, 8 starting pitchers for the regular season

  4. Shota was outstanding and has a great personality to match. If he stays healthy he will be a top star year in and year out. We need some bats to support him and the rest of the staff, along with a legit closer. Let’s go!
