Why Texas Rangers trading Nathaniel Lowe would create more problems than it would solve

The Texas Rangers are trying to stay under the luxury tax this season, and therefore are looking for ways to save money. With Nathaniel Lowe set to make $10.7M in arbitration fans have speculated about trading him to save money. Lowe’s consistent offense and defense make him more than worth his salary and would be difficult to replace through cheaper alternatives.

Jon Gray, Dane Dunning, Adolis Garcia and Leody Taveras are other players Texas could consider trading to stay under the tax.
