“The fourth quarter, it haunts me.”

  1. I love how it showed the stat for the defense that the Niners had given up the second most points in the last two minutes of the game this season (CIN with the most). And then both SF and CIN give up game-winning drives.

Both defenses fighting for the Least Clutch Award

  2. As soon as I saw we were up only one score, and they had the ball at the two minute warning that we were toast

  3. Stafford, 2 plays – 31 yards to win.

Kyler, 14 plays – 75 yards to win.

Baker, 11 plays – 58 yards to tie.

Geno, 11 plays – 80 yards to win.

We used to have a bend but don’t break defense (’19 season finale against Seattle is the epitome of that).

This season though it’s a sinking feeling when the opposing team gets the ball late in a close game. Close game the offense failed to open up despite having multiple opportunities after having a lead already in the game.

  4. We really need a bit of shake up after this season. Deebo needs to go, get Prudy OL line help in the draft, Kyle needs to stop being stubborn. Get Salah back and OC to put Kyle at ease, he is doing too much like Mike was doing

  5. Defense totally cratered once Bosa went out and yet Sorensen still insisted on only rushing four until the very end. Completely unserious defensive playcalling.

  6. For what it’s worth, this was by far the most obvious causality behind blowing the lead in the 4th. Bosa goes down and we almost instantaneously give up 10 points to lose the game.

Fans here love complaining about him (for a lot of different reasons), but we need to start understanding the fact that without Bosa we’d currently be 0-4 in the division, probably something like 3-7 on the season, and looking to shut down Greenlaw, CMC and Kittle for the rest of the season.
