2. Watching the Pens is like buying a ticket to watch one of those Bobby Vinton concerts posted online.

4. Pickering needs to play. Jarry cannot play again. He has no heart.

5. The sooner the franchise understands the reality, the sooner they can move towards the next chapter of playoff contention. Don't make us wait 5-10 years like some other franchises if starting now can get the team back into the playoffs in 3-5 years. The longer we wait, the longer we suffer.

6. It’s all pointless, Dejan. Mario drove out Rutherford and hired the worst GM ever in Hextall and then gave up on caring and sold the team to Boston. The franchise was literally ruined in the span of three years and there’s no hope for recovery for decades. I’m sorry Crosby, you deserved much better.

7. Sully needs to go..scratch graves when he's looking annplaying good..why ? How about Peterson, he's God awful..scratch him..

12. The problem with bringing kids up from the AHL is that they arent any good either. The pens prospect pool is as deep as a shower stall.

13. For the first time in my life im starting to turn games off, its like they dont have that fire to win anymore.

14. DK – Does the D miss Todd Reirden? You often said how much he helped Letang, Pettersson.

    I don't like the Quinn hire – i think bringing head coaches in as assistants doesn't work. Look at the Raiders – like 5 former head coaches and they suck. They all think they already know everything, that their magical 'system' is real because it worked for a while a couple years ago.

    And yes, i think certain players can benefit from a former HC while overall he's not that effective. I did not like the Reirden hire, but acknowledge the good parts that have not been replaced and in fact have been made much worse.

15. Grzelcyk should've been scratched over Graves. Both he and Shea provide absolutely nothing to that team. Pickering is an absolute stud though, who's only going to get better by playing in the NHL. We need to focus on acquiring another young defensive prospect by trade, and drafting an NHL ready talent in 2025 to pair with Pickering and Brunicke. St. Ivany needs more time to evaluate, and Graves will get better in time with our system.

16. McGroarity. Poulin. Pickering. Really, what do you have to lose by playing the kids and sitting some of the mid-30s journeymen we have?

18. As for me I;ll keep watching the Pens because I love watching hockey and who knows how long the Big 3 will be around. I;m gonna appreciate their careers while they are still playing and hope to be able to see more of the young players like Pickering who has mad skills and is really poised given his years. Thanks for hanging in there DK.

DK…I've come on since day 1 and bashed the Dubas hiring and almost every single move he has made with the exception of Eller signing….pointing out his MO based on past experience…one thing I will say is that Dubas came to Toronto as AGM and managed the Marlies….Lameirello accumulated along with Dubas many draft picks and 'organizational depth'…that depth had the Marlies do well…most of those players were not NHL players and the ones used to get NHL players sadly Dubas didn't make the right moves (with exception of one trade for O'Reilly)…..so I'm not surprised baby Pens are doing well…that has been the focus…and I'm not surprised the Big Pens are doing poorly, that hasn't been the focus as demonstrated by every poor roster move he has made….I don't know how Sid resigned because this team is not winning any time soon…..many many years

22. Yes! Yes! San Jose won the EK trade! How don’t you know what the Dubas gave up for this mess?!?!! He’s never played at 60% of his full capacity. They retained money on Petry, gave up another 1st round pick and are stuck with. 10 million offensive defensemen that doesn’t even do that well.

23. Sully putting in veterans regardless of performance over younger players? I'm shocked. Shocked I say.

24. Hmmm, do we want a power forward (Martone) a #1 center (Hagens) or a finisher(Misa)……

25. Even when Grzelyck was playing poorly (forever ago) the coverage started interviewing and highlighting him. Probably at the organizations request to show support when people clearly see he's bad? Also maybe to encourage him to play better? Idk and idc if he can carry the puck and skate. He can't defend. He's an issue.

    Also the EK65 conversation i don't care about the woes. I know he can play better than he did previously and believe in him. He will certainly do things that I don't agree with but that's the cost of a heavy offensive defender. We have to bolster around him. Grz is our first move to do that. Get rid of him.

26. I'm glad family life is keeping me from being too involved this year…
