[MLB Network] MLB Network Hot Stove weighs in on the reported trade talks surrounding Reds’ infielder Jonathan India and Royals’ starter Brady Singer.

I’m absolutely on board with moving India this offseason. It’s been made pretty clear he won’t extend with the Reds. With 2 years left of control, this is the most value they’ll get from him in a trade. And it helps work out some of the infield jumble. Francona doesn’t seem like a guy who want to juggle playing time around a lot.
I would love it if they could get an outfielder back for him, but Singer would be a good return as well. I think the Royals may have floated this story out to let it be know that they would trade Singer for the right bat, and see if anyone else bites. Doesn’t make sense for the Reds to leak this out, every team knows India is available. So we’ll see if this actually goes through in the end.
