Instant reaction to 49ers loss to Seahawks

  1. Get Campbell outta there !! He is 🗑️ and can't cover nor tackle anyone without help !! Go get LB Dobson and help save this defense !! Also better offensive play calling needs to happen….

  2. Why did they not throw to Ricky today? They need to be more balanced in their distribution. BS call on the official spot on the Niners first drive. Jennings forward progress was in front of the marker.

  3. That reign is over!! The 49ers will soon be the sellar dwellers in the NFC West. Big time salaries kicking in next season for many older players and Brock Purdy will command $50 million a year. It's been 30 years since the last Superbowl win and it won't be another Superbowl win for many more years to come!!

  4. It's over with we have green bay and Detroit coming up our offense is no good what i believe is the window is closed once again on the 49ers superbowl I don't see Kyle coaching 49ers much more longer 8 season no championship superbowl.

  5. People always talking smack about Kyle … they must hate how we always get into superbowls and playoffs… even in the glory says of the 80’s and 90’s we lost folks… you win some you loose some but, injuries happen and you play with what ya got. It is what it is but they are trying to win but man this one hurts.

  6. TOKO BRAD 🇹🇴 💯 WHY NOT CLOSE THE GAME WITH GURENDO HE HAS PROVED HE CAN CLOSE OUT GAMES!!!!I LOVE CMC…BUT WE HAVE A 3 HEADED MONSTER AND RUNNING BACK….CMC MASON AND GURENDO

  7. Seattle just wanted it more…period. Seattle's defense showed up and they were well rested. We should have been more prepared. Looks like the 49ers took this game for granted. The whole team is to blame for this one.

  8. What do you expect 49rs fans, old man Bosa has a bad hip he is washed up and old 27 year old hack and then there is George Kittle at 31 another rocking chair hack. Hey Bosa be sure to wear your MAGA HAT at your next MRI for good luck. Also what a great coach you have !

  9. The defense can only hold on for so long. This offense needs a giant kick in the ASS. Idk what’s going on with them but it’s PATHETIC. Has coach Shanahan run his course? Idk but there’s no excuses at this point.. we have all the talent (aside from our disgusting offensive line) and can’t do shit with it.

  10. Having looked at the 49ers, the OBVIOUS reason the lose…..It's Jimmy's fault…..his 13 4th Qtr comebacks with a HC who cannot adapt on the fly,, pathetic pass protection, must have been due to ANYTHING else but Jimmy

  11. Look, as an avid Chargers fan for 50 years and a 9ers fan since 78 (I am no longer a 9ers fan as of 2024) I can tell you exactly what's wrong with this team. It's called Staley and the curse of the Staley. I turned in my 9ers fan card as soon as they announced that Staley had any part of the organization. That curse will haunt this franchise as long as he is employed. Good luck with your last place finish this year.

  12. Missing the playoffs has to bring massive changes; Deebo hasn’t done shit this season and is an example of the kind of fat that they should trim this offseason with the Purdy contract. I’d say the coach should be considered too but there’s no way it happens based off 1 season. Nevertheless he needs to take a long look in the mirror too, we have all these good players and yet it feels like a predictable offense when even 1-2 guys are out.

  13. Just a few points (apologies for the length):

-Injuries: Not going to go into making excuses about injuries because as we know, EVERYBODY has injury issues in the NFL. Important guys were out, hurt, or underperforming, yes, but this is the type of game you need to win against an inferior opponent. That said, not having Kittle yesterday probably hurt more than when Bosa went out in the 4th. The 49ers aren't doing anything with Kittle out hurt. With George, there's at least a fighting chance, but as we saw so often yesterday, without him as a safety valve for Brock, he had to scramble WAY more than he should be, and really it was just the Jauan Show yesterday, and as much as I love Jauan, we need more to win

-The play-calling: I agree with you, and it's not hyperbolic to say that teams know when Deebo will rush and that hasn't worked this year. Look, I still think Kyle has done this long enough and with less talent at the quarterback position that he is capable of scheming it up better than that, but right now, its simply not clicking on offense, and he needs to take accountability for his role in that. When you draft 4.4 or below guys like Pearsall, Cowing, and Guerendo and then have no plays designed to take advantage of that speed, thats on you, and you alone. Kyle better be in his bag against the Packers next Sunday or it will be much uglier than that butt ugly 20-17 loss we saw yesterday. Also, the penalties or a discipline thing, which is on the coach as well. Get your team to stop committing these ridiculous penalties, at the volume its happening, week in and week out because we aren't good enough to overcome this like we may have been in the past

-D Line: Clearly not what it used to be, and after 10 games we have enough of a sample size to say that losing Hargrave and even Armstead, especially against the run, but in both run and pass, have been much bigger losses than anyone in the building wants to admit. The pass rush when Bosa is out of the game is bottom 10 in the league, gotta call a spade a spade. Last year we knew we needed another beast edge rusher (and no, Floyd isnt that guy) opposite Bosa to REALLY rush 4 without blitzing consistently, and that never got addressed. Not in the draft (Insert Drake Jackson busting in 2nd round here), and Floyd and Gross-Matos only in free agency wasn't nearly enough. Nice rotational or situational pieces, but nowhere near what Bosa brings, and thats very much an issue, and it just got magnified in that 4th quarter yesterday, and likely will be for some time with the oblique injury to add onto the hip for Bosa. Sorensen will need to REALLY get creative in scheming up pressure against Green Bay or else Love can take out his lawn chair back there all game long

-Deebo M.I.A. : Maybe its the scheme for sure, but Deebo hasn't looked anywhere near himself all season. Its weird to say this but, I dont even know if Kyle knows how to use one of his most dynamic weapons anymore. Deebo doesnt look 100% either, or as near it as possible, but even with the scheme maybe not helping him, it seems like the press man that teams have been throwing at him since Spagnolo did in the SB is working, and that's more on Deebo not adjusting or improving than the scheme. I don't see the same fight in Deebo as in the past, and unless he finds it quick, and on consistent basis, I dont think he should be relied upon to deliver that big explosive play; this has been by far his most disappointing season, and it comes in a year you already lost Brandon Aiyuk, which just compounds the problem further

Lastly, as poor as this year has gone, it's still right there at 5-5 with 7 to go. Tough schedule for sure, especially with the emergence of the Cardinals that wasnt expected, but if you win the next game, and somehow maybe win an ugly one against the Bills (without Bosa seems insane to think of, but hey let's dream a little), then all of the sudden you at least put yourself back in a much more favorable position again. Gotta win in Lambeau though against a Packers team that is licking its chops to beat you while you're down, especially considering how many times the 49ers have beaten the Packers lately, and especially on their field.

Which 49ers will show up… I guess we'll find out. We'll learn a LOT about this locker room after the Green Bay game. If they show up with physicality and great execution for Kyle, or if its an ugly mess like yesterday. Either way, all eyes will be on Kyle one way or the other after this one

  14. Feels like Kyle's time has come to an end. No creativity, poor use of personnel, and defenses are no longer concerned about his game plans. The telling stat going into the game was 22 times the Niners had been in "to goal" situations this year, and they had runs 19 times for 1.2 ypc. The defense truly have figured him out and he seems to have no real answers overall. And please no whining about injuries, everyone has injuries.
