  1. DeVito was a rookie last year and won 3 games. I think I he will be better than Jones, if his teammates play better around him. Jones didn’t get the job done but I think of the dropped passes, dumb penalties, crappy ref calls, missed blocks, etc., and think he had a lot of help losing. It’s too bad, I like DJ and hope he catches in somewhere else, probably as a backup or a bridge QB. But after that Panthers game it’s pretty clear his time as the Giants starter was last its expiration date.

  2. Brian Dabol is a great coach and can run a great offense. Daniel Jones is absolutely horrendous he doesn’t see the field to make the throws he’s not accurate If you think jones is good you need help

  3. If the giants are gonna tank, they should tank. If they put devito in, hes gonna start winning games that giants have no business winning again and miss out on the future qb

  4. If you actually pay attention to the practice during the off-season, most of the time, Tommy DeVito was out, performing Drew Locke. They did not make it look like that, and they gave him the starting job because of his veteran presence in the locker room. He is not any better he’s actually worse. I’m a diehard giant fan and follow them very closely. Tommy DeVito was the number three guy because they wanted to work with him a lot more before they gave him the starting job and he has improved a lot since last year. We are told by one of the coaches that has been working with him.

  5. Endings aren't always climactic, his last play wasn't a terrible pick or bad injury, it was a fumble by the rookie running back on the other side of the world who was gently pushed aside during the bye week.

  6. Daniel Jones is Taysom Hill, if Taysom Hill were a eunuch. Simms and his father have been wrong for six straight years telling us Jones is a top qb. Neither one will ever admit they were wrong.

  7. If Jones doesn’t have 2 seconds to at least react or run then I don’t blame him.
If a weapon drops a good pass I don’t blame Jones.
As a 6th Pick turned Veteran QB I do blame him for Lack of:
Leadership, overcoming and outplaying Garrett’s era, developing deep touch and accuracy, still staring at weapons, not avoiding QB sneaks after each neck injury, not practicing like game situations by not standing for 6 seconds behind a s suspect line while looking at a weapon, struggles sliding and protecting himself, looking off defenses or manipulating with pumps, and there’s a few more etc..

  8. Daniel Jones needs a fresh start. Giants move on with Tommy DeVito. Now is the time to see what he can do with a year of experience in the system. The backup QB job should be his to lose.
