BBall is a business. So, sorry to say JS is gone! No one is worth that amount of $$$. See you Juan! Makes more sense to spread the cash! The yankees are not just baseball history but humanity's history so if he wants to go let him. that fact should make money not be the determining factor !!! My dad was a soccer player and he played for a team that was made up of just friends. They would never go play for another team no matter how mush $$ they were offered. They won so many championships together as friends its priceless!!!!

Not all Yankees fans are irrational. There is a certain number I wouldn't pay for Soto. Let Cohen throw all the money he wants at Soto. If Soto chooses the Mets, so be it. Would I like Soto to return to the Yankees? Sure. But not at any cost. Any Yankees fan who thinks the team should sign him no matter the cost is clueless. We don't listen to them. They don't count.
The primary reason that the yankee fan will be upset is not that they lost out on juan soto. It's that Cashman mortgaged all the pitching in their farm for only 162 games of Juan soto and didn't win a world series. and now, one of their rivals will get Juan Soto for only money. That it may be the mets is a distant second.
The Mets, my team for almost 43 years, spent nearly $86 million on two 40 year olds that didn’t play an out for us this year on top of everyone else who didn’t play but got paid. It’s a wash to sign Soto and Pete and have a better overall team. Cmon, it’s common sense

As a Yankees fan, I hope he goes to the Dodgers. Then in 5 years,LA has an entire team full of Bobby Bonilla contracts.

The Yankees should use that money to fill in other spots. They already have a much better right fielder and a center fielder in the system.
