1. Almost time for me to cancel espn+! I'll give it thru December. It's probably from becoming a fan when i was 13 and not knowing shit hockey for so long I'm beyond done with shit hockey. Fire the entire staff. It's our only hope Obi Won.

2. I still can't believe we gave Jake walman up for nothing, our defence is terrible outside the top pair, goaltending has been keeping us from sinking further this season, we are so boring to watch, bring back last year's team, only highlight for me this season has been edvinson and kasper

3. 😢 spending 10K$ going to Detroit with my family to see 4 games in december.. last time was 2016 and the Wings lost all 3 games and scored 1! goal total in those games. This cant happend again. Make a change!!!

4. Lottery team.

5. Analytically our top players good in corsi and expected goals 5 on 5 and all situations. It’s our depth guys that are horrible. Gustafson, compher, veleno, Berggren (he gets a pass because his good play has been pretty consistent so 1 bad game once and a while is ok), and everyone’s favourite d man Justin holl was the worst of everyone. All these guys were 30% and lower in corsi and all those guys are also all below 11% for expected goals percentage. Last year our depth is what helped us so much and now we don’t have that. I’m ready to tank for hagens and turn it around next year with some contracts coming off the books like Petry, Husso, etc. should never have resigned veleno. At this point I just want our core guys to have strong and productive seasons. LGRW 🥲

Sorry boys, you do a good job of covering this team and don't deserve to have to cover this crap, but let's be honest, this team is the S.O.L. of Hockey: a deadbeat owner who is more concerned about corporate sales in the suites and stands and nepotism with the organization than he is with his accountability to the fans. Fans should stop attending games or if they do put bags over their heads so it can be captured by national media, because the old man illitch would never let this happen and chris should be ashamed of doing NOTHING about this.

7. Red wings and sharks came into the game with the two worst shot differentials in the league… and the wings got outshot by a truckload, yikes. Worst PK in the league. 2nd fewest shots in the league. 2nd fewest 5v5 goals. 5th worst expected goals for. I don’t expect this team to win the division… but this is so much worse than I could have ever guessed, and it’s only getting worse. Bye bye lalonde. Nobody will miss you.

10. I said the Wings would be terrible right from preseason. I got called out for that outlook. I said Tarasenko wouldn’t score much and he hasn’t.

12. This team has played with a lack of motivation and heart. There a lottery team. It’s time to change the coaching staff. The veterans on this team should be ashamed to wear the sweater. Definitely time for a change. Thank goodness for the kids in grand rapids, for next year.

13. Watch you guys all the time. You where talking about this trip previously mentioning two other teams that should have been wins that where bottom feeders. It’s really starting to look like our wings are the bottom feeders. So disappointed so far this season. We need a quick turn around or this season may be over Christmas.

15. I feel so awful for Kane. He signed here in good faith hoping to build on what we had last season. Lalonde is deploying a fruitless system that hamstrings ANY type of offensive creativity. The players dump the puck, but don’t follow up with any kind of aggressive forecheck. We can’t possess the puck, so we can’t hold a lead. Lalonde thinks at some point, the square peg will fit into a circle hole. All we want to see is progress, and we are taking REAL steps backwards. I will never forgive Lalonde for causing real damage to this rebuild.

16. I live in the Central Time Zone and went to bed after the second period in the last two games. Such boring uninspired hockey. You can hear it in Larkin’s voice. He deserves better. Lalonde sounds the same no matter if he wins or loses. Just like a sad sound loop. Last season I could not wait for the next game, this year the opposite. Yzerman is to blame as well but the GM is always the second to do. Something has to change.

17. It’s not Unacceptable with this lineup.

    It’s not unbelievable this team wasn’t going to make the playoffs the Defense SUCJS no checkers no grit on this team.

    The line up is terrible what do you expect. Yzerman is the big reason this team is failing every year. Yzerman SUCKS at drafting in the late rounds he sucks at drafting grit.
    Yzerman resigns a big slow 6 foot 5 Rasmussen that can’t score so it seems like he would use his size to check and stand up for teammates. But he don’t and the coach keeps playing him because Yzerman resigns him.

    I never once going into the season thought that Yzerman had a team that could make the playoff.

18. Every time we get a penalty I expect a goal against at this point. This is utterly painful. This is why I stopped supporting the wings like 6-7 years ago. Supporting a team like this is disheartening and emotionally stressful. Mind blowing is a good term for it for sure

19. FIRE DEREK LALONDE

20. This system is for a bantam house team playing the local AA travel team, it isn’t for the top league in the world. You can see how frustrated Kane is during interviews. LaLonde loves to talk about players getting “looks”..his look needs to be over..I’ve seen enough.

21. Damn, it is tough to watch Brian and Scotty so dejected.

    It's been a tough season to watch. On the brighter side; GR is playing well, and they've been fun to watch so far!

    PS: By NO means was this Talbot's fault (although a couple softies tonight). Do we see Cossa in the NHL this year?

22. So essentially what’s happened so far at best:

    1. Barely don’t make the playoffs last year, lose essentially on a technicality
    2. Marketing and PR lean into it to generate hype
    3. Strat reality from management, we are transitioning to the real rebuild and developing our youngins
    4. Doomers rinse repeat

    Guys, I’m starting to think there’s something wrong with society; we gotta lot of people living for the Red Wings😂 I believe cause Kasper, and our reliables are being reliable

    – PP is good
    – kids getting better
    – Only 3 Points out of the wild card

25. I really feel for you guys. Bad enough to have to take this as a fan, but having to watch this to make a living is tough. Sorry Newsy, but you ARE the weakest link. This team is not THIS bad.

26. Ok on the PP Detroit uses the middle of the ice.soon as they5on5 dump it in fight on the boards till they loss the puck everytime no shot.i seen 20 times someone open infront of net they chose wrap it around boards till they loose puck again

28. After the way last season ended my hopes were so high. Now I’m deflated, just like this team. I found myself last night thinking about prospects and draft picks and free agents, and who on the current roster will still be here when the Wings are actually good

    Hint. It’s less than half the roster

33. This team is garbage, like you said it's boring and way behind schedule, newsy needs to go and I dare say yzerman needs to rethink his next move.

34. If you look at the rebuild compared to I-75 repair projects he's way ahead of schedule and way under budget. Steve's working for MDOT.

35. We are 3 points out of 3rd place in the division, which unfortunately will preserve Lalonde's and Yzerman's jobs for the foreseeable future. There needs to be change, and soon.

36. My condolences on having to watch this team. The Yzerman plan is a bust.

37. I think Lalonde will be a successful NHL coach two teams from now

38. If we get rid of Lalonde now, we might make the playoffs by 2026. That will officially make it 10 years in between. Last year's 2 worst teams manhandled us so far this year. Every other bad team has changed coaching when this level of suck has been reached. The Wings need motivation, and nothing motivates players like new coaching, and sitting.

39. List of Issues

    Larkin is overworked
    Moritz and Simon are the ONLY good DEF
    D-Cat is really good at hitting posts and missing empty nets
    Veleno can't "break out" for some reason but at least is trying
    Raymond seems like he is afraid to shoot the puck
    Kane and Tarasenko are ghosts of their peak performances
    Lyon can't catch pucks
    Husso is so/so but Red wings have lost faith in him
    Talbot is good but he can't stand up if he faced 40 shots a night.
    PK is terrible.
    PP is meh
    Wings are drawing penalties
    WIngs DEF players have the most penalties on the team….
    Wings are too in love with shooting from the "slot"
    Wings are now not getting enough shots.
    Wings are being coached by Uncle Fester.

40. We’re not going to see what this team is capable of until Newsy is gone. He’s sucking the life out of this team. This offseason has been brutal as well. Other than Talbot it’s been a disaster. Stevie didn’t sign Ghost or Perron so he might as well been a seller at the deadline last year.

41. Maybe I’m old, but bend don’t break reminds me of the Lions Wayne Fontes era with the Run & shoot that was supposed to win. It didn’t.

42. Terrible road trip, great episode, Scotty with the quote of the day and Brian showing us some personality with us picturing him listening to papa roach in his bed with a pillow over his face 😂

43. I agree on the shots. With 3 closing on the net, don't look for a pass. Look to score.
