8. Totally in with picking up Daniel Jones if Darnold departs for his bag o cash. While KOC works with him, Jones would be a great backup for JJ McCarthy. By the end of 2025, Vikes might trade Jones to yet another team that wants a fixed high-draft "bust." Vikings could accumulate a lot of draft picks this way over several years, and raise the level of QB play for several teams. Come to KOC Finishing School for QB draft busts!

10. There is a lot of dreaming going on right now about JJ McCarthy. His performance in the pre-season was against who? Right, 2nd and 3rd string players. So, if folks think that JJ by taking "meantal reps" and in the meeting room this year is like actually playing this year are very naive. Not taking anyting away from him but if you think he is going to play and not have a "rookie" season, okay. He efficiency in reading his progressions and pre/post snap reads in "real" time and make throws, okay.

18. 'Titans are a bad team'. Well, they have a very highly ranked defense. Pass defense 1, total defense 2. In this league all it takes is a couple mistakes and the flood gates open. I'm confident that the Vikings can beat the Lions IF they play mistake free football.

19. I had a flashback to the shock of the Jones pick in 2019. PFF big board had Dwayne Haskins and Drew Lock above Jones. Jones was ranked 70th. He really isn't a first rounder. The Giants are just ridiculous.

21. 8-2 is great, i'm really happy about that , however at times we have looked pretty shabby getting to that 8-2 , and i'm talking about more than a quarter or two. But it's not to late to make a couple changes here and there to play like we did at the start of the season. We can make a deep run in the playoffs , I truly believe that , i'm and old fart and i'm not going to die until we win a Superbowl !………………..SKOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

23. Heck yeah, I think Kwesi should sign Jones to be JJ McC's backup next year. You never know, assuming JJ plays well and we're a contender again next season and JJ gets hurt for a couple of games, Jones can jump in and be a decent backup.

27. Lots of 8 -2 just be happy comments….and I know I'm happy to be 8&2 especially when all the football braintrust said we would suck. Seems that if the goal is supposed to be winning a Superbowl then realistically calling out where we need to be better should also be part of the equation. Being a 50 year Vikes fan I can confirm making the playoffs just to be one and done hasn't ever made me happy. Mediocrity is achieved with a " just be happy" mentality….I thought we wanted to be GREAT…..
