  1. Hey John, one thing I will say for the Celtics is that they need to go out there and play with a chip on their shoulder tomorrow as if they want this game. The main goal is to crash the glass, keep your turnovers, in check, and hit your free throws. Their big guys need help to stretch the floor. The Celtics should focus on attacking the Paint early to get in the bonus; that way, they can take advantage.

  2. Must be that Holiday SZN!!! To keep it Jrue, something about an old present feeling new 😏 Can't wait for KP to be back in the lineup but let's see the how the focus is on those Cavs. Hopefully a W on the menu 🍽️☘︎🔒

  3. Don't be nervous for this game, folks. I LOVE it. Frankly, I'm kinda hoping the Cavs are a monster this year–it will push the Cs. They're better when they're challenged.

  4. John's analogies and metaphors are limitless and cool. Folks, enjoy this: this is good sports writing: useful, entertaining, but not distracting; even done with competent English. A dying breed, sadly.

  5. I understand where you are coming from but I thought that those “windows” are where the doctors could expect a recovery i general and not an a la carte “I choose now” date of return.

Based on the different MDs talking about it, it seems like it was the tendon that attaches the muscle to the bottom of your foot that partially tore. The muscle then retracted around his heel causing more issues and pain. It’s the same muscle you can engage by pointing your toes down and then curling them.

Hopefully the tendon tear was just difficult to diagnose and easy to monitor. But for me I would err on the side of caution since it took them forever to catch it in the first place because it was clearly the cause of his earlier issues. He is his own man though and has the medical choice.

  6. Danny seems like a really down-to-earth guy. Cavs looking really dangerous this year! If the Celtics stay healthy and have KP in the playoffs, I still think the Cs will best everyone in the east though. Noone ever mentions that he's injured, and how big his impact is on this team. He literally changes the entire dynamic.

  7. I’ve been thinking about that 5 or 6 way pod you had at the beginning of the season and how universally everyone including the Cavs guy discounted the Cavs as a contender. No one could have predicted how most of those teams start to the season would turn out. What a crazy season.
