  1. This is great news but if he needs a specialist to determine if he did or didn’t have a concussion when he takes a pretty routine bump isn’t it just a matter of time before this happens again? I love watching Fil play but it sucks knowing that this is probably going to be a problem going forward.

  2. He is the type of player you take an abundance of caution with. Missing 2-5 games where he probably had a sore neck/jaw is perfectly fine. Better than a season

  3. So happy to hear that. Outside that he’s one of my favorite players on the team. It’s so scary to have head trauma

  4. Yesssssssss. The boys have been trending in the right direction the past two games. This news and his return hopefully helps put us on a win streak here. Psyched for Fil and the team.

  5. He’s one of the most important players on this team, I’d say top 5. Losing him would have been devastating

  6. Without sounding edgy, this is AMAZING news that he got hit with an elbow to the face, fell to the ice and did not get a concussion. Think about it.

  7. A lot of post concussion symptoms are caused by trauma responses in the neck and trapezius, which is why people who have one concussion seem to get others more easily. It’s not that they’re more easily concussed, it’s that they get concussion symptoms more easily, even if there’s no damage to the brain. That’s probably what is happening to Chytil
