We get a playable backup 5. Saric can be moved to being a pick and pop guy at the 4. Frees up a roster spot to sign a vet minimum guy. Best case we can potentially be 11 deep?

  1. As much as I’d like having such a solid backup, would the Wizards even take a trade like this?

  2. I like the idea solely because he’s probably the best player vs Jokic. And, I don’t want him falling into the wrong hands…

  3. You guys gotta realize that 2031 first is the most valuable trade asset this team has. They cannot give it away for Jonas Valancunias come on

  4. Zeke contract only gets moved with a 1st attached or 3-5 seconds given how it’s 8m of cap space for a g league player with 3 more years on the books. Getting JV back who’s a serviceable and tradeable contract would be a solid return

  5. You don’t trade a first round pick for a backup center who will barely play in the postseason. Booth would deserve to be fired on the spot for making this trade

  6. If they’re trading a first, the only real asset they have that isn’t playing key minutes right now, they should do it for someone who can play next to Jokic
