Brandon Miller’s Shot Chart – This season so far compared to the 23-24 season

  1. You can see that the mid range is not there. It’s pretty much impossible to attribute that to his slow start to the year, but they definetely made a conscious decision to remove the long 2s for 3s. His main problem is still that he’s actually bad driving and as a consequence going into the line: .125 FTr (.160 last season) is laughable for a 6-9 scoring option, you want that number touching .300.

  2. I hate the hate the midrange gets. For most players, it’s an easy but inefficient shot. But for a few, it’s a borderline layup, and it is precisely what opens up their drive game.

  3. i think how c lee develops miller over the season would be important for how his hornets tenure would go
