Edit: yes we are dead last. LA and Denver also have some pretty bad depth issues so for our bench to be even worse than theirs is definitely a problem to address.
Dead last bench though. Can you imagine once we have a bench what we will look like?
What’s crazy is that this year the ball is moving so much better and the assist numbers, especially the last few games, have been great. It’s just that the movement and assists are confined almost 100% to the starting 5.
sustainability is the only concern. there is only a finite amount of shots that can be taken a game. so we dont necessarily need a bench if our starters are the ones that end up taking the lion’s share of the shots. but we need guys that can step up on off nights, and guys that arent strictly on the floor to give starters rest.
Is this adjusted for minutes?
How do we rank in minutes played by starters? I would assume probably first…
That’s because Thibs only plays a 5 man rotation. IRON MAN BASKETBALL BABY

I’m not mad at it cause in the playoffs you’re gonna run with a 7 man rotation at best, but it concerns me with the amount of miles the guys are putting on their legs in regular season.
This is a tad misleading because when all 5 are on the floor it doesn’t seem like this.
The team seems to be at their best when deuce is on the floor. The bench problem will sort itself out when precious and Mitch return.
I wish there was more context. What are the minutes per game for these teams?
Excellent, but where do we rank in 7th man scoring efficiency when guarded by a left handed defender who is over 6’5″ on a Wednesday night after a low pressure system moves through and the dew point is under 47 while the moon is waxing gibbous?

Just don’t ask about our bench scoring
(I think we’re dead last at like 18ppg, ~11 of which comes from Deuce)

Need a playmaking wing off the bench
