[Forsberg] Celtics Mailbag: Porzingis nearing return, scouting the Cavs and more

Forsberg: “All indications are that Porzingis has been tracking on an optimistic timeline. He’s engaged in pregame workouts that now look even more rigorous than some of the sessions before his playoff return. Porzingis has been traveling with the team, something that players with longer timelines tend to avoid.”
They need to keep him on a minutes restriction max 20) at least until the all star break, where the team can hopefully re assess and see where he stands.
The last injury really was a freak injury but with his injury history and talent they have to be super careful, they can get the one seed without him (or with him playing 10-20 mins a night).
I watched him warm up before the Nets game. He’s moving really well but definitely still looks like someone recovering from surgery.
