1. This isn’t what a lot of people WANT to hear, but a coaching change isn’t going to rescue this season. The Bruins’ roster has too many contracts that contain No-Trade Clauses. So, even if the GM wants to clean house, rebuild, or change the locker room culture… he really can’t do that.
   Pastrnak, Elias Lindholm, Zacha, Coyle, McAvoy, Carlo, Zadorov, Hampus Lindholm, Korpisalo, and Swayman all have full or limited No-Trade Clauses.
   The only “big” decisions for 2025 are whether or not to extend Marchand and Frederic.

2. Seriously you guys are way off you don't think the methodology to build the bad big Bruins was failed????
   They had the two great goaltenders that carried them for 2 years that only got them to the second round one year. They were loaded with role players they did not get a superstar to help Marshy and Pasta…
   Count the superstars I count 4…every other team has much more than that. Plus keep the F-bombs going and you'll be just like Bruins Benders who are also a joke with Smitty

3. I think the constant roster turnover is the primary culprit here. The Bs have had virtually a different roster the last 4 seasons including this one. You just can’t keep going to free agents year after year and stack the on top of what is clearly a shaky core. Sure, they’ve had some
   nice regular seasons, but with rosters that have had very little time together. That’s why this team doesn’t see deep runs outside of 2019. Now that constant roster turnover has reached into the regular season. They need to stop with chasing the playoff gate with these retools and build a team from the ground up. Ownership wanted a salary cap world, but refuse to live in it with how they build their teams.

4. The viel question needs to be a question by a reportet to Monty and sweeney. I think monty sabotages himself. Thats part of the problem. I think he did it with the lines in Rd 1 two years against Florida when we were up 3-1. I think hes still doing it. Its a personality thing.

6. 8 million $ overpaid disappointment of a goalie. 12 goals in 2 games. A captain on this team is showing absolutely no leadership. Take the A off of pasta and Mac. Everyone is to blame with no exception. The owner GM President. BLOW IT UP. Whoever said that they aren’t that far away…… what are you smoking? Nobody loves the Bruins more than I do. It’s painful

7. Letting Don Sweeney fire Monty and hire his third coach in five years isn’t going to solve the Boston Bruins clearly biggest issue…

   Their talent problem

   Bergeron Chara Pasta Krejci Rask Marchand Krug

   That is the Hall of Fame Don Sweeney inherited as not a single one of those players was originally drafted, signed as a UFA or traded for by Don Sweeney

   All of them were brought to Boston by other Bruins GMs

   Anyone notice that now that Don Sweeney can’t live off the backs of that elite core that the Bruins high end talent has fallen off a cliff?

   Not only that, Don Sweeney was also gifted FIVE, 1st round picks and FOUR 2nd round in his first two years as GM between the 2015 & 2016 drafts

   How’d he do with those draft picks?

   Five First Round Picks between 2015-2016

   Zboril- Unmitigated bust

   Debrusk- Gone, walked for nothing in return so they could sign the human penalty machine Nikita Zadorov

   Senyshyn- Unmitigated bust

   McAvoy- Good player. Not elite. Has been lost on the ice for about a year and half. Not a leader

   Frederic- An inconsistent, bottom 6 guy that is ghost come the post season who doesn’t fight or hit anyone anymore

   Those picks were taken at 12, 13, 14 (twice) and 30th. So Bruins homers and Sweeney Apologists, you can’t say Sweeney cocked up those draft picks because they were all at the back end of the first round, when 4 of the 5 were in the Top 14
   The Four 2nd round picks between 2015-2016?

   JFK- Unmitigated bust

   Lauzon- Given away for nothing in the expansion draft so Sweeney could re-sign Matt Grzelyck who they had to keep benching in the post season

   Ryan Lindgren- Given away for a 11 games of a concussed Rick Nash and to off set the Belesky contract that NYR took on as part of that deal

   Brandon Carlo- And up and down guy with a concussion history

   Homers and Sweeney Apologists, those nine high draft picks were largely wasted and they’re a big reason why the Farm System is trash and the big club roster lacks talent

   Don Sweeney cannot draft and develop properly and he’s proven that in spades

   Proof? The Farm System is trash, it’s been ranked in the toilet all 9 years of Sweeney’s tenure as GM and both their big club roster and their Farm System has less real NHL talent than at any point in Sweeney’s near ten year run as GM

   Well at least they won a lot in the post season so the Cap Prison, the terrible farm system, the crappy coaching, the low talent big club roster….

   All of that has been worth it right because the Bruins won a lot in the playoffs under Don Sweeney right?

   Um, nope

   8 of 9 years Sweeney’s Bruins have failed to win more than one playoff round

   9 years as GM and they’ve won ONE lousy 2nd round series, ONE!!!

   The coaching hasn’t been anywhere near where it needs to be and the players are under performing, all true

   However, the coaching could be the best in the league and their roster of average guys could play up to their average level and the team would still not be anywhere near good enough to be Cup competitive despite spending to the Cap Limit

   Again, this is a talent problem Bruins Homers and Don Sweeney Apologists

   The GM hasn’t fired the coach yet, even though every other GM in the league would have canned Monty by now

   Why? Because Don Sweeney needs his excuse and fall guy at the end of the season to offer up to the Jacobs to save his own ass and job

   If Sweeney fires Monty so early in the season and the Bruins continue to fail, all blame will shift to both him and Cam Neely and Sweeney will do everything possible to not have that light shined in his face

   Bruins Homers and Don Sweeney Apologists the Bruins had their run from 2011 to I guess now. It’s over, get over it

   Even the Patriots had to blow up it, Tom Brady moved on and then retired and Belichick got fired even though they both combined to make the Patriots the greatest dynasty in any sport EVER!!!

   What in the FN hell has Don Sweeney done but live off the Hall of Fame core he inherited from other Bruins GMs while he’s spent to the Cap Limit and destroyed their farm system in the process while doing nothing but choking in the post season?

   Again, fire Monty

   However, until both Don Sweeney and Cam Neely are shown the door and an entire new executive and coaching staff are hired, I wouldn’t expect many playoff series wins in Boston because they couldn’t win with that Hall of Fame core Sweeney inherited

   You think they’re going to win any playoff series with this dumpster fire of a roster that is now primarily nothing but HIS PLAYERS?

   Time to fire Sweeney and Neely. Long past time really

8. The Bruins have always prided themselves with there identity and culture, this season it seems we have none of that.
