7. Blue Jays have so many question marks man. I just don't see Juan Soto becoming a Blue Jay unless a Vladdy ext is signed. Without that ext in place, there's no chance IMO.

8. Could the Jay's have a deal in place with Vladdy that they are waiting to announce at the same time as Soto or if Soto falls through they can still pump a vladdy extension. Perhaps one salary if Soto joins and one if he doesn't. Just a thought.

The jays need to sign Vladdy long term , then trade Bichette and a few others including minor leaguers to get a starting pitcher like Crochet and a left hand reliever like Tanner Scott and if very lucky maybe even a power outfielder like Santander. Just looking at 50 m for 1 player like Soto or 50 m for 3 players like Crochet , Santander and Scott .

28. With all due respect, if you're putting faith into Mark Shapiro & Ross Atkins to pull off miracles, you're completely delusional. They're not capable. Just having the money puts you with all the other big dogs that also have money but also front offices that are far more capable.
