PFF Rookie Rankings After Week 11. McConkey is tied with Nabers as the highest rated WR. It’s looking like we not only got the top OT in the draft, but also the top WR. Just incredible work by our FO.

  1. I dunno if this is a fair ranking. Nabers is getting thrown to by Daniel Jones, and McConkey gets Herbert.

  2. Man, this year’s draft has been a great one for receivers in general. Of course, Ladd has been great but I’d still put him as the 3rd best in the class behind Nabers and BTJ.

  3. Idk how PFF rankings work, but you gotta think Nabers would have a better rating playing with Herbert rather than Daniel Jones. McConkey is a fuckin stud though.

  4. I wouldn’t expect mcconkey to be better than nabers long term tho. This year definitely. But overall, I think nabers has him. Possibly even Brian Thomas Jr

  5. Relax. Nabers and MHJ would put up better numbers if JH was their QB, probably odunze as well

  6. I love our draft and our FO this year, but I also believe that Nabers would be absolutely lighting up the NFL with Herbert throwing him the ball and it wouldn’t be close.

Now, that being said, obviously Herbert needed an O-line upgrade to make that possible for any WR, and I don’t know if Nabers + 2nd round tackle would be as good as what we are working with now. Keeping Herbert upright needs to be priority #1

  7. Reminds me of when Manning joined the broncos and turned every WR into an all pro the next year… think it’s really just having a great QB makes all the difference. Stoked to have McConkey though!

  8. Previous FO takes Odunze and Powers-Johnson. Odunze only ends up good cause it’s another 1st they really couldn’t mess up but they’d still choose the lesser of the best available options.

  9. Receivers are very dependent on QB play. McConkey has an elite QB throwing to him, Nabers has Daniel Jones. Not all opportunities are equal.

Having said that, I’m very happy with Alt/McConkey over just Nabers alone.
